The NEW ALPOA, Inc - Alto Lakes Projects, Outreach & Activities - https://alpoa.info/
Hello ALG&CC!!
We have been blessed this year by an over-active monsoon season and subsequent growth of vegetation. ALPOA would like to use this opportunity to remind everyone of their community obligation for property management/maintenance, encourage you to familiarize yourself with the Firewise guidelines, and begin applying those guidelines to your properties….even lot owners. Just because there is not a structure on your property does not disqualify you from this obligation.
HELP WANTED – ALPOA is always on the lookout for projects, outreach opportunities, and activities that will benefit the Alto Lakes Golf & Country Club community. Let us know if you have suggestions/ideas. We are also always on the lookout for members who would like to do more- ie, volunteers/board members, as well as new members. Your membership is what allows this organization to give back to both our own community and local charitable organizations.
The ALPOA membership procedure has been streamlined in collaboration with ALGCC – you no longer have to fill out a form and mail it to us. If you would like to join ALPOA you can fill out a form in the office or contact the club office at 575-336-4231. If you are unsure of your membership status, please check your December 2021 statement for this line item:
ALPOA ANNUAL DUES $25.00
or check our membership list at our website https://alpoa.info
In past years, a number of our members added additional dollars as a donation to support our projects and activities. If you would like to make a donation you can mail a check to:

WINTER KARAOKE – Karaoke nights at ALG&CC are a lot of fun, and this community is blessed with some surprisingly good talent. Some members have expressed the desire to have karaoke nights more often during the slower off-season. I am pleased to report that your request has been heard and granted with the understanding that there may not always be enough staff to go around, which will require karaoke attendees to come with a “self-serve” attitude. If you’re a full time resident or just happen to be here, we invite you to join the fun! Stay tuned to the E-MINDERS for more details.
Thistle/Weed Control recipe: 1 gal vinegar/1 cup salt (Epsom salt preferred)/1 tbsp liquid dish soap.
NOTICE – The ALPOA, Inc. Board of Directors meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month @ 2pm in the Spencer Room at the ALGCC clubhouse. Members are always welcome! If you would like to be on the meeting agenda, please provide us some advance notice with a note to [email protected].
