August 2023

Wow, what a difference a little rain makes in the conditions of the golf courses!

Glenn and his crew have really done an amazing job, working to make these courses so beautiful. August is our busiest month of the year, and we are losing our college and high school  students who are employed. Thank goodness we have them all!

July 2023

I always begin my golf lessons with me asking the students, “What do you want to get out of this
lesson?” More times than not, the response is “MORE DISTANCE!”

June 2023

After an extremely busy Memorial Day weekend, we might need a course on some basics of Golf Etiquette. First is the issue of pace of play.  The best way to judge your pace of play is to determine where you are supposed to be on the golf course.  YOU ARE TO BE RIGHT BEHIND THE GROUP IN FRONT OF YOU, NOT JUST AHEAD OF THE GROUP BEHIND YOU!  If you have a gap in front of you, you need to catch up to the group ahead of you.  If you do fall too far behind, wave the group behind you to go through.  But at some point, you need to play faster, or you will be letting groups through all day.
