Big News on the Courts Pavilion and Restrooms!
Construction has begun for the much-anticipated courts pavilion. It is located between the pickleball and tennis courts. It will provide ALPA and ALTA much appreciated shade, a place to socialize, and restrooms. This will become a beautiful place for the Ron Wall memorial bench that our club is sponsoring. A huge thanks goes out to Elaine Wedgeworth, Stephen Morris, Cindy Stowe, Ken Wall, Scott Dickerson, ALGCC and many others!
Will We Play Pickleball in November?
Everyone knows that the answer is YES! We play year round, as long as the courts are dry and the winds are below Category 3. Starting times will adjust closer to 10:00 as temperatures drop.
Mondays - Advanced Play 3.5+ for all Alto Members and their paying guests.
Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays - ALPA Club Play
Annual Ugly Sweater Party, December 2nd
ALPA and ALTA will continue the tradition of having our members look ridiculously funny while playing pickleball. We’ll have a morning of play, followed by a self-pay social at the Outlaw Clubhouse. More information to come!
First Aid Kit
We now have a first aid kit stored in the red and white cooler hanging on the court fence. If you find a kidney or heart in there, that’s probably a mistake.

Winners Again!!
ALPA Members CJ Redden and Mary Ann Elder took to the courts for the SOMO tournament in Las Cruces. Each won bronze in their divisions for mixed doubles. Their partners were also from Las Cruces. We’re so proud of you!!
Also… Pickleball Machine for ALPA Members
ALPA has a new pickleball machine that our members can use for practice. You’ll need to contact Gaylord Rich (432-213-1686) or Robert Saffer (505-900-4067) for instructions on how to use it and check it out.
Sunday Dink & Drink are and Wednesday Skinny Singles are sadly finished for the season and will resume next summer.
Membership Continues to Climb!
At last count, ALPA has about 215 members! The annual fee is just $20 and will be charged automatically each March to current members. If you are interested in joining, contact the ALGCC office.
