Outlaw Court Improvements Update
Though the winter months have slowed progress, we’re still hopeful that we’ll have a beautiful
pavilion to enjoy this summer. Plans are coming together for permanent shade structures and
seating. The icing to our amazing courts. ALGCC and ALPA take good care of us.
ALPA Pickle People of the Month
Barry and Twiletta Howze
Barry and Twiletta met in 1979 and married in 1981.They have been blessed with three
beautiful children, two boys and then a baby girl. They now have two wonderful little grandsons
with another baby boy arriving mid-April. They so love being grandparents!
The Howzes came to Alto in August of 2010 to visit a friend. They fell in love with the area and
decided to become a part of this special community. They bought a lot and their summer home was completed in 2011. As they were looking for land, their realtor told them about a crazy game called
pickleball that was played in Alto. They gave it a try and were hooked! They love the
game, the fun, a “bit” of harmless trash talk on the courts, and especially the wonderful
friends they have made in ALPA. Twiletta and Barry live winters in Granbury, TX, and enjoy playing on the three new courts at Pecan Plantation. They also love playing with their grown kids and even
bought little paddles for those grandbabies!
