Instructions and Drills for ALGCC Members
If you have visited the beautiful courts at Outlaw and observed players having fun while getting some light exercise, you may be wondering how you can do the same. You have a wonderful opportunity on Mondays at 2pm. Informal instruction for beginners will be provided by some of our talented players. If you already play the game and would like to improve on your skills, this is also your chance! Everyone is welcome as a member of ALG&CC. Please wear court shoes in order to play safely and to keep the black marks off the newly resurfaced Outlaw courts.
So come on out beginners, players, and advanced pickleballers! See what the fastest-growing sport in America is all about!
Certified Instruction:
Pickleball players in our area are fortunate to have access to one of the two certified pickleball instructors in New Mexico. John Allevi, from Las Cruces, presented three sessions of 90-minutes each at our Outlaw courts on June 17. Coach Allevi divides each clinic into approximately the same level of skill, and limits the number of players between 3-5, so each one gets lots of individual attention. The cost of these lessons is $30 and is paid directly to Coach Allevi.
ALPA will announce when future clinics with John will be scheduled.
