Tennis fans all over the world tune into the French Open, the second Grand Slam of the year, from May 22 - June 11.
Alto Lakes Tennis Association (ALTA) asks, how big a French Open fan are you? Can you answer these quiz questions?
- If the French Open is the second Grand Slam of the year, what is the first?
- The French Open is the only one of the four Grand Slams to play on which surface?
- The French Open plays at Stade Roland Garros. Who was Roland Garros?
- Which American players have won the most French Open championships, singles and/or doubles?
Answers: 1. The Australian Open, played in January. 2. Clay. 3. A famous French aviator of World War I. 4. Chris Evert (7 in singles) and Martina Navratilova (11 singles and doubles).
