The loving hearts of our ALGA members revealed themselves again in August. We held our ALTRUSA benefit on August 23rd. We raised $8,000 for this worthy cause. Many have suffered from breast cancer or other cancers and know too well the importance of emotional, family, friend, and financial support. The following week, $5730 was donated for Food4Kids, another worthy cause that is so important to the children of Lincoln County. With a matching donor, the total donated that day was $6730. This will provide 2,304 backpack meals. To each and every one of you, thank you for your generosity and for your concern.
