I always begin my golf lessons with me asking the students, “What do you want to get out of this
lesson?” More times than not, the response is “MORE DISTANCE!”
Distance comes mostly from high swing speed. High swing speed comes from strength, balance, and timing. In order to accomplish these things, we must be in really good shape.
I’m not sure how many of us exercise on a normal basis but if we want to be better, we need to push ourselves to get stronger. Try walking more to your golf ball while playing. Save the grass and strengthen your body at the same time. Instead of driving your cart all the way to your ball, walk to your ball any time you can.
This just might help us all hit it further!
