The 2022 Snowcapper member/guest golf tournament brochure, which included the registration form, was emailed to all AMGA members on May 23. This year’s registration will be different in that no teams will be “grandfathered in” from previous years. Entry forms must be completed and either returned by mail or dropped off at the Alto Golf Shop, including tournament fees. The number of teams has been reduced to 96; therefore, the AMGA Board recommends returning your entry form as soon as possible. Tournament dates will be August 2 – 4, with a practice round on August 1. The cost this year will be $700 per player and the format will be Shamble, Scramble, and Best Ball. Please contact the Alto Golf Shop at (575) 336-4232 or any AMGA Board member if you have questions about this tournament.

Golf joke of the month:
A man entered the bus with both of his front pockets full of golf balls. He sat down next to, of all people, a beautiful blond-haired lady. The blond kept looking quizzically at him and his bulging pockets. Finally, after many such glances from her, he said, “It’s golf balls.” Nevertheless, the blond continued to look at him thoughtfully and finally, not being able to contain her curiosity any longer, asked, “Does it hurt as much as tennis elbow?”
