How can it already be July?! Our summer is off to a fantastic start. With our Annual Summer Member Party in the books and our tournament season well underway, we look forward to the encore of our 2025 summer season.
July brings us our coveted Independence Day event, ALPOA’s Golf Cart Parade and Rally ‘Round the Flag. This event seems to grow every year. Our staff will be hard at work making this event fun for all. With 800+ family and friends coming to fill the pavilion and patio and share a meal, we ask for kindness and patience to be shown to all. Happy Hour will be at 4pm, and the Alto Dining Room will open at 5pm for dinner service, although with a limited menu. Bobby Luster will be performing LIVE on the Alto Patio from 4-7pm for your enjoyment.
ALSO’s Tacos and Trivia, ALPOA’s Fireball, and the Scholarship Commission’s Denim & Diamonds 2.0 are all fantastic events for great causes—show your support by making your reservations for these right away! Outlaw Years and Toby Keith Tribute concerts are on the books. Chef Damian’s team is preparing buffets for these nights for your enjoyment.

Happy Hour will be on the patio July 18. In June, Chef Damian and I had the pleasure of attending Labatt’s 40th annual food show in San Antonio, Texas, where we got to meet with the companies that supply our food for the Alto Clubhouse and find new products to bring back and serve to you all (see more about this amazing event on the Alto Foodies page, pg. 29).
In the interim of finding a new Banquet Manager, Theresa Gibson has come out of retirement to help ensure this summer is just as great as all the others! If you see her, please welcome her and thank her;we are grateful to have her!
