April 2025 Cocktails & Wines
When they’re talking about cocktails, most people don’t think of honey. But if you transform the viscous amber substance into a syrup, it can bring a unique, earthy flavor to some of your favorite beverages.
To make a honey syrup, combine 3 parts honey to 1 part water in a saucepan over medium heat. Let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once the honey is dissolved, remove it from the heat and let it cool for around 20 minutes. Once it is cooled, store it in a
container convenient for pouring, like a plastic squeeze bottle or a maple syrup dispenser.
Once you have your honey syrup, use it to enhance all your favorite cocktails!
