October continued to be another great weather month for golf! Although many members have gone to their winter abodes, we have still seen busy tee sheets. We have also completed another great tournament season, as November is here. One notable tournament that we hosted at Alto was the SCAGA Mid-Amateur Championships. The tournament was played at Outlaw and Alto (36-hole medal play). There were several divisions among the tournament and we had several Alto members participate. A special congratulations to Denise Bowers for winning the Women’s Championship by 9 shots! Way to go, Denise!
