March is already here, and with it, strong winds and warmer weather.  At least the snow should be off the course and ready for all 36 holes to be open.  The Golf Calendar will be out soon but here are some important dates to remember.  Match Play will be on June 6^th and 7^th, Club Championship on July 23^rd-25^th, Snowcapper is August 1^st – 3^rd, and Lonesome Pine will be September 5^th-7^th.  As registration gets closer for these events, members will be notified by email as to when registration will begin.  So again, please make sure you have the correct email address on file with the club and with the AMGA at the following address – [email protected].
 
Our first AMGA Playday will be on April 5^th at 9:00am at Outlaw.  This year, the AMGA is going to have a Fed-Ex type tournament called the AMGA ALTO CUP.  Participants will earn points based on participation and performance during the year on our playdays and tournaments.  The top 24 players will be eligible for the ALTO CUP tournament.  This should be a very enjoyable time for all our members, and I encourage everyone to participate as often as they can.
