May is here and we are nearing warmer temperatures and greener grass! Association play days have started and we are in full swing with the 2023 tournament season. Again, all of our tournaments can be found on the Club’s website under Golf and the 2023 calendar. Once you click the tournament portal button, it will take you to the Golf Genius portal where you can choose from any Association and then see the respective schedules and sign-up/registration information.

MIXED COUPLES GOLF: We will have our first Mixed Couples event on Thursday, May 18th. Invitations will go out two weeks prior to each event where you can sign up from the email. These will also be on the tournament portal (from the club website) under MIXED COUPLES.
HOLE IN ONE REPORT: We have two holes-in-one to report. Mark Wise aced the 17th hole at Alto from 110 yards with a wedge. Mark was playing with Paul Vescovo, Dan Wallraven, and Ken Valdez. This was Mark’s 5th career hole-in-one. Don Ratay jugged it on the 11th hole at Alto from 183 yards with an 8-iron. He was playing with Ron Travis and Jim Forster. His career hole-in-one total is now 4. Great shots guys!
Are you in the Hole-in-One Club? If you are interested please contact Charisse Wadsworth at [email protected]. The program costs $5 per person and reloads each time a Hole-in-One participant makes a hole-in-one. Each golf shop has a simple form to fill out should you have one. Inquire at either golf shop for the form.
Looking forward to a great season. We’re glad you’re here.
Sincerely,
John Rogers, PGA
