The Day Before “EARTH DAY” NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN-UP
FRIDAY, APRIL 21 2022, 10:00 AM
Grab your gloves and a couple of trash bags! ALPOA, Inc, is organizing a “Neighborhood Clean-up” event and we need volunteers to clean up their own neighborhoods/streets. You do not have to be a member of ALPOA, Inc, to participate. There will be “trash grabbers” available for you to check out at 9 AM at the Club parking lot the morning of the event, and some heavy-duty trash bags. You are encouraged to bring your collected trash to the ALGCC trash site on your own, however, arrangements can be made to collect full bags if you will let us know where to pick them up…
This year we will be offering a lunch buffet sponsored by El Sueno Wedding Venue.
ALPOA, Inc, board member Matt Pursley will be coordinating the sign-up process. Please text him at (936)520-3611 or email mpursley1900@yahoo.com to let us know what street(s) you will be helping with and allow us to get a headcount for lunch.
DEADLINE for lunch headcount is Monday, April 17th, by noon!! Fingers crossed for good weather!
Bonito Fire Station
ALPOA Board members attended the Bonito Fire Station Open House in March and presented another donation check to the Fire Chief ($6,000 in the last 16 months). The Sun Valley Station is an investment of $1.6 million towards the safety of our community.
